  • The subjects and blocks are based on the choices on the Sixth form application forms. The blocks have been constructed to maximise the numbers of students who are able to take their first three (or in some cases four) choices indicated on their application forms. Where subjects are greyed out this means they are full and switching to these subjects may not be possible
  • You can only choose one subject from each block
  • Some subjects appear twice because they are very popular
  • If a subject does not appear, it is because we do not have enough students wanting to take that subject to make a group. If a number of students change their minds and drop out of a subject, it may disappear from this list.
  • ┬áThis combination of courses allows in excess of 95% of applicants to be able to follow the three subjects indicated on their application form
  • If you change your choices at any point, you must come and see Mr Rushworth at the earliest opportunity. Whilst we try to accommodate right up until results day, it is possible that teaching groups may be full.
  • If you are unable to follow your three preferred options, then you have been allocated to your reserve, however you should come and speak to Mr Rushworth or Mr Elmes to discuss this further.
