Course aims
The A Level Product Design course is a rigorous, exciting, practical based course designed to inspire and develop the designers of the future through a multi discipline, multi material, approach.
- Developing innovative design and development skills to communicate ideas to others.
- To work collaboratively as a team to prepare for work in commercial design settings.
- To develop intellectual curiosity about the design, development, manufacturing and engineering industries.
- To become independent critical thinkers who can apply their learning across a wide variety of different situations and contexts
Entry requirements
Grade 5 or equivalent at GCSE in Design Technology.
