Chemistry
Course aims
The course aims to provide a stimulating and exciting programme of study which will broaden students’ understanding of the fundamental role that chemistry plays in the physical and natural world around them
Through studying chemistry, students will develop and improve many transferable
skills including;
- problem solving
- application of number
- logical and critical thinking
- observation
- planning and team working
Entry requirements:
Grades 77 in GCSE Science (combined sciences) or Grade 7 in GCSE Chemistry (separate sciences) and grade 6 in GCSE Maths.
If you are not choosing A Level Mathematics, you are required to take Mathematical Studies to complement this subject.
